As Occupational Therapists see the person as a whole. We are trained to address the relationship between the body, mind, and emotional parts of a person, the daily activities that people do, and the environments that people perform these tasks in. We are function-based in all our therapies, which results in more tangible, actionable items and strategies that you can take out into the real world with you as you live your best life.

Meet our therapist Jeff Brose, who has over 15 years experience working with people coping with a variety of conditions such as depression or anxiety, living with injury or illness, or coping with the stressors of life.

Treatment Philosophy

I believe that everyone deserves to live a meaningful, purpose-filled life. Sometimes barriers and challenges come our way, and I work with clients to gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work through these. Therapy should be a safe space where clients can feel comfortable exploring emotions, thoughts, and behaviours that may come up in our discussions. I value honesty, empathy, courage, and working with clients to challenge their own perceptions and limitations. Any mental health therapies should be evidence-based, with a strong background of research to support their use. With therapy, I use techniques drawn from evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Exposure Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you process and set goals and move forward with your life. I specialize in One to One sessions, providing all of my clients with a safe space to be open and honest to work through any problems or challenges they may be facing.

* Occupational Therapy is a regulated health care profession governed by the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists. Our services are covered in whole, or in part by most benefits or insurance plans. Check with your provider for your specific coverage. All Enable Health Therapists with have completed a Master’s Degree Level of Training.
